Yes. Data transfers use SSL and files are encrypted at the data center.

FileLu uses hardware encryption and SSCE. Your private key is never stored on FileLu servers.

You will permanently lose access to encrypted files. FileLu cannot recover them.

FileDrop allows others to upload files directly to your account folders via a shared link.

Free users: 10GB per file. Premium users: no limit.

Your transfer quota is based on the storage you purchase. For example, if you purchase 1 TB of storage, you receive a 1 TB monthly transfer quota.

Download bandwidth, direct link traffic, and supported protocol-based transfers count toward your monthly transfer quota.

Normal uploads from the FileLu website and URL remote uploads do not count toward your upload bandwidth allowance.

If you reach your bandwidth limit, you will not be able to upload or download files on FileLu servers until your bandwidth allowance resets.

Direct links will also be disabled until your allowance resets.

To help avoid reaching your limit, we recommend sharing the regular download link instead of the direct link.

Anonymous, Registered, and Free users receive a daily bandwidth allowance. For example, Free users receive 5 GB of daily download bandwidth, and it resets every day.

Premium users receive a monthly bandwidth allowance based on their storage plan. For example, a 1 TB storage plan includes 1 TB of monthly bandwidth, and it resets on the 1st of every month.

No. FileLu does not count bandwidth when you watch videos, listen to audio, or view documents inside My Files while signed in to your account.

Bandwidth is counted when files are downloaded, shared through direct links, transferred through supported external protocols, or processed through encryption and decryption features.

Uploads through external transfer tools or protocols may count toward your transfer quota, including FTP, WebDAV, Rclone, Rsync, S3-compatible uploads, API uploads, and similar connection-based upload methods.
